Total Guide to Your Remodeling Marketing

Step 1: Build a Solid Foundation, aka a Website

The first and most important step in your remodeling marketing is your website.  Building a marketing strategy is like building a house.  Before you even start to put up walls, install windows, or carpet, you have to have a solid foundation.  This is what a website is for your business.  Your website is where all of your digital marketing will point to.  So what do you do?  How can this help with remodeling marketing?

First, you have to build the site.  Use sites like or to make a simple website for your business.  Then add pictures of you and your team doing the work that prospects will hire you for.  Include lots of before and after pictures.  As remodelers, your business and work is very visual.  Show the changes you have made to someone’s home.  Include videos and lots of rich content for web visitors to see.

Include a clear call to action like, “Free Quote” or “Contact us”.  The number one reason website visitors leave a website is confusion.  The visitor doesn’t know where to go and they end up leaving the site.  Implement these strategies to set yourself up for success.

Step 2: Generate Leads

Now there are many ways to generate leads online, but there are a few that never fail.  Remodeling marketing can be achieved through three means.  SEO, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads.

SEO is a form of website manipulation to get your website ranked on page one of google.  SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is achieved over a long period of time for long-term results.  It is achieved by using keywords on your site.  Including content like videos, and pictures.  Then include links to other pages and sites on your page.  Also, create a google business profile and make sure you are coming up on google maps.  Google maps are absolutely crucial to local service-based businesses.  Get these right and you will see your business come up on google. Google and Facebook ads are used to generate leads quickly for your business.  These would fall into Pay Per Click or Paid Search.  You are paying Google/Facebook/Youtube/TikTok to run ads on their site.  When creating these ads, you can target people who live in your area.  You can also target age range and gender and other identifiers when creating your ads.  Paid traffic is the best way to get quick wins and drive traffic to your website.

Step 3: Nurture the leads with your social media accounts

When it comes to remodeling marketing, the last step is simple.  Post as much as possible on your social media page.  Post before and after pictures of your work.  Post videos you take showing your work.  Post business updates. For example, when you get a new truck or you design a new t-shirt for your employees, etc…

Get creative with your posting by posting videos, pictures, and articles about remodeling.  Give tips about small things your followers may be working on.  Really, all you need to do is post on a consistent basis and you really can’t go wrong.

Remodeling marketing doesn’t have to be difficult.  I know that it takes time to post pictures and videos, but it will make a huge difference to your business.  in conclusion, have a website that is full of content and videos.  Run ads and maximize your SEO to get people to that site.  Then, grow your audience through posting on your social media pages.  If you follow these steps, you can’t go wrong.
